Street photographer Martha Cooper describes her work as "exploring the public space and how people are using it." That's a good description of my style. When I am on my game, I am active, alert, ready and working to capture unique moments; it's not a meditative experience. There are many styles of street photography; these photos are my evolving style. Inspirations include Lee Friedlander, Robert Frank, Garry Winogrand, Alex Webb, Bruce Gilden, Marissa Roth, Thomas Alleman, Anthony Friedkin, and the New York Times Lens blog, among others.
